For Adults and Young People
I’m Sandra, a fully qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist, and a member of the BACP – This means that I work within their framework and code of ethics.
I work with adults and young people and offer a non-judgemental, empathic and confidential safe space for you to explore past or current issues. I can offer you, or your child, help and support while you take this important step on your journey.
I have worked in primary schools, secondary schools, a doctor’s surgery and also charities for adults of all ages. I now work with all of these age ranges in my private practice. I am a parent to two teenagers and my many life experiences, both work and personal, allow me to support you as an individual.
I am a person-centred therapist and offer a holistic approach as I believe that we are all unique, therefore, I work with what is important for you. A non-directive therapy means that only you really know what you need to feel self-acceptance.
I will work with you at emotional depth to help you understand your experiences, past or present at a pace that you feel comfortable with. I also understand the importance of confidentiality and how you need to feel comfortable to talk freely about your most private experiences or worries. The therapeutic relationship is based on trust, honesty and transparency, allowing you to feel heard and accepted.
